About Bodoland SEED Mission

The Bodoland Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship Development Mission has been inaugurated on 14th December 2021 and the process is going to make it as a society for providing a good quality skill eco-system to the youth of Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC). BTC SEED Mission shall be established for providing a good quality skill eco system to the youth of BTC. BTC SEED Mission shall be responsible for coordination of all skill development efforts across BTC , exclusion of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill enhancement, structuring of new skills, and pioneering thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created by engaging young people from BTC. It shall aim to achieve the vision of a Skilled BTC which will bring happiness amongst people of the region.

Initiative 1: SEED Mission: RPL training of 4680 is done. 1828 nos. of on-going training in different trades such as airline cabin crew, JCB/Heavy vehicle driving, F&B service etc.,br> 1175 nos. toolkit will be distributed to trained candidates on 15th July in self-employed tailor & assistant electrician trades. Initiative 2: 10,120 target allotted by NSDC in different job role under PMKVY 4.0 in collaboration with IIE, Guwahati.7777"
